Where innovation meets technology.
For gas-free changing of t-pieces, fixtures or fittings of gas pipe that are still in use in house installations.
Loosen the pipe end with the suitable wrench or pipe wrench so far that it can be turned by hand and later removed.
Attention: After loosening the end, no gas should leak!
Before attaching the glove lock to the pipe end, the flexible filling rod of the HA bag is entered from inside to outside through the hole provided in the lock head until the bag hits the lock body.
The hose clamp is fed over the loosened end to the pipe end, the end section of the lock as well. Please pay attention that the ventilation valve is pointing upwards. After pushing the hose clamp to the end piece of the lock, this is tightened with a screw driver.
After this, the glove side of the lock is pulled over the hand; the loosened pipe end can now be removed with the glove and left inside the lock. Then the bag attached to the filling rod is fed into the pipe until behind the t-piece.
A second installation engineer inflates the HA bag with a small hand pump up to a maximum of 2 bar internal bag pressure. Check the seal at the ball valve of the lock body if necessary.
Since the house connection bag seals the pipe against the gas pressure, the complete hand lock can be removed and the planned repair or exchange of a t-piece can be carried out.
After completion of the repair / exchange, the dismantling of the bag is carried out in the reverse order until the pipe end of the gas pipe has been sealed again.
Flexible lock made of natural rubber, with optional connections 1 1/2", 2" or 2 1/2"
