Scope of supply
A bag positioning system consisting of two bags with additional pressure release of the space between bags requires two complete bag-positioning devices.

Application
Contrary to stopping-off with four single bags - two on each side - the use of double bag positioning devices requires drilling only two connections. Since pressure can be applied to each bag individually, there is also no need to provide the required double safety.
The gas contained in the pipe section to be separated can be released through both bag-positioning devices. For safety reasons, this is usually done by means of flushing this section with inert gas.
Construction
The bag positioning device consists of an insert with fill/release valve, three bag positioning pipes (from DN 80 - 125, DN 150-200, DN 250-300) with extended bag positioning shoe and bag positioning struts with two pressure gauges and ball valves for filling each bag and releasing the pressure. All components are made of galvanized steel.
On request, the device is available in stainless steel.
