Bag positioning devices of the MINI series from städtler + beck represent a unique construction protected by patent no.: 198 46 088.0. They are the result of continuous research and product development and are based on the proven MDA™ bag positioning technology with DVGW certification.

MINI bag positioning devices were especially developed for building gas connections. Especially designed HA bags are able to even adapt to spaces along the pipe under working pressure. Contrary to the common stopple procedure, the pipe can be drilled with a smaller diameter and will expand to the desired dimension. Generally, it is possible to release pressure within the working area or to flush the working area through the bag-positioning device. Depending on the operating pressure, devices can be used single or in pairs. Generally speaking, all known working procedures of larger bag positioning devices can also be applied to these models.

Uniform design of the MINI bag positioning devices adds to the safety of work in the field. Analysis of possibly dangerous situations is practically identical to the familiar procedures known from larger devices. This means, workers on site will always know what to do.

städtler + beck "MINI" bag positioning devices can be used in combination with steel. Special weld-on sleeves, as well as clamps requiring no welding, are available. In addition, MINI bag positioning devices simplify the work in combination with a variety of other pipe materials, such as PE.

Application

These HA bag-positioning devices are the only ones on the market, which can be used in combination with bow-shaped ball valves. In combination with water pipes, the use of special high-pressure bags allows the use with operating pressures of up to 2.5 bar.Due to the well-known insertion technology, the use of 2 setting devices allows releasing the tension of the space between bags or flushing the pipe.

Note

This primarily differentiates these devices from the standard stopple technology. By using special screw sleeves, it is not necessary to weld on sleeves. Each bag positioning devices is delivered with a comprehensive instruction manual.
