OMPP
Sleeve testing device with acrylic window for visually supported positioning and documentation, pneumatic operation with acrylic window, camera fixture and rubber rings for improved tightness, single-part design
From DN 200 to DN 700
Designed for sealing tests of pipe socket ends, with viewing window for positioning and documentation.
Deliverable as a water testing device for conducting tests according to EN 1610 (process “W”).
The device is equipped with a GEKA water coupling for filling purposes as a standard feature. Different adapters are available that allow for connections to pipe cross-sections or to other connections for inserting different testing materials. A built-in six-wheel transport trolley is also a standard feature. Water container with rotary pump for water filling purposes and creation of test pressure with testing pressure gauge and connection for filling hose are also available on request.
A complete hose set and foot air pump with pressure gauge are also available.
Deliverable as an air testing device for conducting tests in accordance with EN 1610 (process “A”).
The device is equipped with a GEKA water coupling for filling purposes as a standard feature. Different adapters are available that allow for air filling.
A built-in six-wheel transport trolley that is continuously adjustable is also a standard feature. A complete hose set and foot air pump with pressure gauge are also available.
Application
When testing old sewage and old pipe socket ends, the socket testing device is positioned in the centre of the test area with the help of a sewage robot and in connection with a controlling camera. Both of the socket testing device’s hollow chamber profiles are then pressurised to approximately 4 to 6 bar by means of a foot pump (or other source of air pressure).
This causes the testing chambers to seal hermetically.
For watering testing purposes, the testing chambers (the venting valve must be open) are then completely filled with water. The venting valve and admissing valves are closed. The chosen testing pressure is displayed and the test can be carried out.
For air testing purposes, the corresponding pressure is built up in the testing chamber.
Construction
The testing device is made of a welded steel construction with two hollow chamber profiles and a wide testing chamber, a pressure-resistant plexiglass window and camera holding fixture for the appropriate type of controlling camera (please indicate the robot system and camera type when ordering).
